Pomaria sits at 1455 Howe Street in Vancouver's Beach District, steps from the False Creek seawall, David Lam Park, and the shops and restaurants along Pacific and Howe. Developed by Qualex-Landmark and completed in late 2007, the building was designed by Rafii Architects with interiors by the late Robert Ledingham — a pairing that still shows in the quality of the finishes today.

The townhouses offer Juliet balconies and private rooftop decks. West- and north-facing units capture views of English Bay and the North Shore mountains.

Pomaria was named Best High-Rise Development in 2007 and was the first building in the area to achieve LEED Silver certification. The most practical benefit of that for owners is the geothermal heating and cooling system — air conditioning is rare in Yaletown buildings of this era, and Pomaria has it built in.

Amenities include a fitness centre, sauna and steam room, meeting room, guest suite, and 24-hour concierge, with two elevators serving the tower. The building is pet-friendly and allows rentals with a six-month minimum, so short-term and Airbnb rentals are not permitted. EV charging is available.
